Not watching the game but I just looked at the box score of the Fiesta Bowl. tOSU is getting curb stomped. I guess conference championships should count.

Clemson's pitch was pretty much how the play was supposed to work yesterday. Burns just didn't let the defense get aligned and actually ran the play into their poor alignment. Oh well.
tOSU is so done. Now, if this happened to UW, the story would swing to the idea that the Pac-12 was never worthy, etc. etc.
BigTen is just a big loss to SC away from being vulnerable to that type of commentary.  4 in the top 10?? Please!!

Pac-12 might win too if they ever were given an invite. Remember, until UW destroyed Colorado there was serious talk about letting two BigTen teams into the CFP. Pretty hard to win it all if the committee doesn't select your conference. BigTen (not 10 anymore) doesn't exactly have a great record in the Rose Bowl over the last 10+ years. So, when the Pac gets a chance on the field, they show they are better than the BigTen.
It will be hard for me, but I really do hope SC destroys Penn State. The idea that the Pac-12 had to almost beg to get its 1 loss champion into the CFP over two other conference champs with two losses and another 2 loss at-large (Michigan) is crazy. SC destroying the BigTen champ would reset the storyline.

I remember when I was a kid in Wisconsin it always seemed that the Big 10 would always win the Rose Bowl, unless Wisconsin was playing in it. Then once I got to Stanford in 1965, the Pac 8/10 almost always won the Rose Bowl, no matter who was playing in it.

Woohoo! So happy that commercial has continued to run! They showed it once during our Sun Bowl as well. it was a slow year for new acting gigs, so mighty thankful that some of the old ones continued to run.

tOSU is the definition of a football factory; a school where players can take a single "AIDS awareness" class during football season.

I grew up in Seattle,and when Washington played Wisconsin in 1960, everyone wondered if the upstart Huskies could stand up to the big, bad Badgers. Washington won 44-8, and there were suggestions after the game that Wisconsin was soft, had too much fun at Disneyland, and hadn't taken the game seriously.

Wisconsin up 7-0 on Western Michigan, and driving -- they're on W. Michigan's side of the field. A WMU loss would be useful for Stanford's ranking cause, if you're into that.
