I am very emotional right now, and many of you will say I am overreacting. But these are the games and moments where the good kickers distinguish themselves from the bad kickers. Doesn't matter what or how he does in the future. It has been proven that Williamson cannot handle the pressure, not only this game but in previous games this season.
As such, I do not want him to kick for Stanford any more. It sounds harsh and I am being harsh. But I cannot see how anyone can come back from this. Maybe if he were older and not a redshirt freshman, I wouldn't say this. But he is young, in college, and this missed kick will almost definitely haunt him more than it should or would if he were older.
Or am I being too harsh? What does everyone else think?
