I'd heard - unconfirmed - that at least one senior trainer position went unfilled this year. If so, this is a significant error on Muir's part (and Turley's?).

you mean in addition to the football head trainer?  Muir let the old head trainer go in May, then wouldn't pay market rate so an interim filled the spot.
