I was at Stanford today for one of the greatest track meets that I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to the Olympics and several Olympic Trials. But this was special.

In almost every event a stadium record was set. Or maybe every event. There were best ever on American soil. Top 5 ever. Just amazing.

Packed house. Congrats to Stanford for putting this on and to all the outstanding athletes

Kudos Bob! Per announcers there were over 8,000 in attendance via temporary stands, for a 2+ hour track & field meet. On TV the place looked to be rockin'! While many of the times were outstanding, event after event had simply great races with tight finishes, punctuated with the occasional dominant performance (e.g. women's steeplechase).

Field events were likewise compelling with great duels in men's Pole Vault & Shot Put, plus women's High Jump & SP.
