At kickoff student attendance was miserable, literally only about eight rows of one section filled.
They slowly trickled in. By the end of the first quarter they had filled 1.5 sections, and by halftime the Red Zone was reasonably full though not packed.
They cheered louder for the pink T-shirt giveaway than they did for the team.
But yes, as it became apparent that we had a chance to win, the student body got more into the game.
