Stanford Women just won going away: 27 points, finishing 1, 2, 3, 8, and 13.  That's some performance.

Second was UW with 55, then Utah with 86.

On the women's side, O'Keefe, Donaghu and Lawson all beat Katie Rainsberger to take the top three slots. Oakes was 8th and Heymach finished 13th. In terms of depth, Archer was #26 and Aragon was #40.

As for the men, Ostberg was #4 and Ratcliffe was #6, with Fahy #16, Mendez #21 and Parsons #22. Beaudoin-Rousseau (#30) and Principe (#31) were 12 and 17 seconds behind Parsons, respectively.

I suspect Stanford men will be a top 5 favorite at the nationals. The Pac 12 is loaded. Northern Arizona is the brobdingnagian favorite

Some courses are better for some runners than others.   Some days the conditions and tactics are just not ideal for your athletes. 

Implications for NCAAs?  As close to zero as you can get.  Some psychological impact of having the runners suffer a relatively weak performance at the start of November.   If they are the best team in Terre Haute later in the month it won't matter if they finished 1st or 7th in today's event.
