that list was actually put together very well although I'd also throw in James Vaughters. I think he'll start in the middle next to Skov and that has to mean a lot considering Stanford might have the best group of LBs, even over Alabama.

Were others (than Lyons) on the list players with as limited playing experience so far?

My opinion is Lyons is brobdingnagian for Stanford for complementing the front seven. Talented athlete in the secondary. Hopefully Jordan Richards and Lyons move the team forward in the area of weakness on defense shown against Oregon and Ok St last year.

No one on the team was feted with awards or freshman All-America notices, and none has more than two career starts; the vast majority have never started.
