I don’t know this for sure but I believe Raynaud may be limited by his visa status for NIL opportunities. I hope he gets the right advice.
Quote:Since Edey, who is Canadian, is at Purdue on a student visa, he is not legally allowed to make any money through NIL deals that take place in America. However, there are loopholes. For example, he can accept NIL money if the work that led to that money was done elsewhere.
Edey can do NIL deals when he is home in Canada or when he or Purdue travels internationally. He said Friday he can make money off jersey sales, which he described as passive income.
"It's not like I can go film a commercial in West Lafayette," Edey said.
Edey expressed hope that the law will eventually be revised to allow international players to make money on domestic soil.

Matt Filipowski is in the portal out of Harvard. Twin brother of Duke standout Kyle Filipowski. Since Stanford is in the same conference as Duke next year maybe he'd be interested. He didn't have a lot of offeres out of high school but getting a 7'0 big man wouldn't hurt.
Another transfer out of harvard is 6'10 Justice Ajogbor.

Not interested in posts here about players from other schools entering the portal
Unless a known actual extreme likelihood that they will transfer here
Which doesn’t happen often
Otherwise is a big red herring distraction that has zero impact on Stanford
