Speaking of Graves, I think we are beginning to see the results of Oregon hiring Graves away from Gonzaga. The article says that we made an offer to Campisano before she chose Oregon, but she said that Oregon had always been her top choice. Well, there is a lot behind the scenes about academics that we do not know--keeping in mind that an offer and admission--or even an offer and turning in an application--are separate questions.Â
I do think that the caliber of talent in the rest of the Pac-12 is significantly elevating. It is something Tara and others have always said we wanted, to get the Pac 12 to the point where it is taken seriously as a league in WBB. Well, we got what we wanted.
