Any roots music fans among the Cardboarders?  I am really digging the debut album by Elle King, Ex's and Oh's.  Rootsy, rockin fun.  Hints of Black Keys, Amy Winehouse, Otis Redding.  The NYT is streaming her album for free on their Press Play service - http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/arts/...splay.html

I am also very excited for the 2nd album by JD McPherson called Let The Good Times Roll. another roots rocker with kind of a retro but fresh sound.  He is from Oklahoma.  This is the title song.
