Graduate school is a different admissions animal than undergrad.  I'm curious if it may be easier to get into Stanford as a grad student than undergrad in some cases.

I'm sure it varies by school. But you also have to define "easier". They may have higher admission rates, but I we venture at the grad school level, you don't have as many people filling out 10+ applications as seems to be the norm for undergrad these days.

My wife's grad program at Harvard had something like a 40+% acceptance rate, but all of the candidates were highly qualified for the program and there was a lot more self selection going on.
