I don't want this to come across as me bashing Monty, but losing to an #8 seed is not "slightly underperforming" or "underperforming" - it's a massive choke job. Including Villanova this year, it's only happened five times since 2001. The fact that we did it twice in five years is mind blowing.
Also, I cannot buy that losing to a #12 as a #5 is "meeting expectations" or that losing to a #10 as a #2 is "slightly underperforming."
