It's a little like going to a AAA baseball game.  There are some extraordinary players who are going to be stars.  There are also a great number of very good players who are going to be club champions year in and year out.  There are some really-not-so-good players who are going to be accountants lobbyists. 

Based upon 20 years in the accounting profession and lots of time spent recently with lobbyists, I'd favor the lobbyists to be the ex-college golfers.

I have a particularly tough time at Poppy Hills -- too narrow a track for me -- and I played it with two friends.  A fourth joined us, and shot a 69 from the tips without trying too terribly hard.  Sure enough, a lobbyist in Sacramento who plays 4-5 times a week.  Must be a nice life.
