On the topic of 8 am classes....they are going the way of the slide rule.
When students began to rate professors online and anonymous the professors quickly figured out that teaching a class at 8 am was a kiss of death. No one wants to take a class at 8 am and no one wants to teach a class at 8 am.
It's just one of the reasons for the building boom at Stanford.Â
Yes, there is a lot more research going on in a lot more areas. But there are now more classrooms. So many more classes are being held at 10 am and later.Â
