Sounds like my belief that Shaw and the offensive braintrust need to channel their inner Bill Walsh - short passing game as de-facto run game - in 2015 is shared by someone who actually played in the offense the last few years.
It's no secret that when Stanford lines up in the jumbo set and tells the whole stadium and everyone watching on TV it is going to run the ball, that defenses generally stop it. So it would behoove the team to become much less predictable with its runs, and needs to threaten with the pass even on run tendency downs and distances.
