There was one less pleasant result from dorm hijinx in the early 80's.  If I remember the story correctly it involved a dorm (Toyon?) piling all of the dorm couch pillows and cushions into a stairwell and then wheeling a rope attached chair at high speed toward the stairwell so that a seated person was launched toward the pillows when the rope pulled taut.  We heard about this game in my dorm and were planning something similar - until we found that some unfortunate person was partially paralyzed. 

18 year old males are darn sure they are indestructible until they find they aren't.  As the father of a 16 year old male and a 21 year old male I'm living through that age again right now.  The risk assessment trait must develop sometime in the late 20s because they sure don't have it now.

By the way, I'm sure I got some of the facts wrong so please correct me if you know better.
