Stanford has begun play as the #4 seed in the St. George, Utah regional (BYU is the host). Per ncaa.com, Six teams and three individuals will advance from each regional.
As of this post, Stanford is sitting in 8th place at +11, two strokes behind Northern Arizona and three strokes behind #6 Arkansas. Stanford's players are on holes 11 or 12, so there's plenty of holes left to move up the first-day leaderboard. Lauren Kim is tied for second among individuals at -1 through 10.
The regional runs until Saturday. Go Stanford!
