I wouldn't say 2nd through 8th have been decided at all.  10-shot swings are commonplace in a team tournament.  Stanford and U$€ would the only two teams I would say are locks to advance at this point.  Anybody else in the top 12 could finish in the top 6.

At the point in the second round I made that observation 2-8 were clustered together with about a 3 stroke spread.  Thankfully since that point a healthy gap has emerged between #6 & #7.  I suspect most in the top 6, through ~5 holes, believe with steady play they will advance as each in the the group enjoys more than a 10 stroke advantage over #7.
