Just to clarify:  UCLA women's rowing not selected means they won't score any points in rowing, or eliminate one of their lower scoring sports.  Stanford scores a minimum of 30 points for being selected, but again, won't affect the scoring unless they knock out field hockey by placing 9th or better.

I sure hope the Stanford women finish 9th or better.  They were capable of much more than their 4th place finish at Pac-12s this last weekend, and we have to hope that finals don't put another hole in the ship (shell?) during NCAAs.  I'd count on Stanford doing better than 9th...no jinx.
