Isn't this whole discussion involved in semantics? With regard to intercollegiate athletics' revenues, the golf course contributes very little. With regards to funding intercollegiate athletics, the golf course is an important source of funds. Perhaps I don't understand the implications of these differences in terms of ranking schools athletic departments. Notwithstanding someone's previous comments, I do not believe the funding provided by the golf course is going to go away any time soon.
