Could have sworn I read somewhere it would be Stackhouse in a rout!  BTW, hope the source is correct about today's match - I'm thinking "yes" (unless a 6 & 4 destruction destroyed that oh-so-vital ingredient in any competitive sports:  confidence).

Don't be silly.  This is match play golf.  Any player over 18 holes can beat any other player.  I was still an odd call to have #1 v #5.  And I would submit Stanford was quite fortunate to win despite their #1 losing to USC's #5.

In the finals it is #3 v #4, #5 v #3, #1 v #2, #4 v #5 and #2 v #1.  That seems like a much more balanced collection of matches, on paper.
