It's the percentage of alumni fans on Facebook; maybe the percentage of fans who identify as an alumnus of a particular school and also "like" the school. I'm not really on Facebook, but help my wife stalk her grown children. Son "likes" Stanford; daughter "likes" Cal. Neither are alumni. They also "like" obscure stuff I know nothing about.
I'm not sure I would read too much into this other than who is on Facebook and self-identifying as a fan and an alumnus.
