Good luck to Zach. He wasn't there for Spring Ball and we looked good w/out him. Yes we will miss him. Yes we could obviously use him but we will be just fine.The athletes we have will be great especially after some time under their belt.
People question his decision? I would 100% do same thing. His scholarship to finish school is here whenever he wants it-he doesn't lose it. He had several injuries last year that could end his career. He also has to worry about getting a third concussion in a year (2 last year). He likes and has a brighter future in baseball than football and has the talent. Why jeopardize it with getting hurt, then missing football and possibly baseball? One massive pulling guard chopblock and his dream is done. Then he would have no athletic options. He was quoted as liking baseball more than football. With his talent, I take the money and the chance of paying pro baseball ---just my opinion.
