I love that the final standings were listed as 25th or 26th.
In my eyes that more or less reads like, "If the standings are close we will get them out ASAP, but if Stanford wins early (AGAIN) then we will issue that "Who Cares" final standings at some point that week. Glad to see the final cup results are apparently a rather low priority again this year.
Given the baseball results Stanford will be #1, UCLA will be #2, USC should be #3, Florida will be #4 and UVa will zip up to #5. UCLA & USC will add 50 points to their tally. Florida will get 83 points and UVa will get 100 points. For the baseball additions I did not factor in any lost points for bumping into the 10 sport cap.
All of the programs in the top 5 have finished in the top 5 fairly frequently, so I doubt any of the other top 5 schools will do very much to promote their cup accomplishments this year.
