I learned form an insider while watching the games in Oregon that we will LOVE Alanna Smith.  Pac 12 coaches had been thinking they are gaining on Stanford then many of them saw Smith or video and said Oh Oh.  She's the real deal. 


That said McCall was the 2nd leading scorer and rebounder in our recent World University games Championship.  She could play the 4/5 with Johnson, Kaylee at the 5/4.  McCall did that with Tennessee's Russell in the tourney. 


No big acceptance tweets and Wilson still our only commit.

Thank you Bob for being our eyes and ears on the summer circuit!  That is exciting to learn that other coaches are fearful of Alanna Smith!  I can't wait to see her play.  And McCall has certainly had a nationally-worthy summer.  I do wonder when we will start to get some more firm commits.

Maybe Alanna Smith can be a player that we can build the team around, but if she can be a solid offensive threat and McCall translates this success in the summer to the college season and McPhee and Karlie can nail down that 3 spot, despite losing Amber, Bonnie and Taylor, we can have a good 2015-16 season. (I know, a lot of ifs).
