The controversy nourished by Jon Wilner --that "We Work" was an insult to the unemployed--was stupid. Well, OK, it was silly. Maybe both. It's like saying the slogan "Driven to Win" insults the handicapped who cannot operate automobiles. Marketing slogans avoid direct insults. So those looking for controversy must have had to squint and figure how it might be an insult. I have no idea what football players thought of it. My guess is they were getting a drink from the Harbaugh blue-collar firehose and didn't give it another thought. Neither should we.
