The total defense stats are interesting. Northwestern is at 11. We are tied at 37 with Oregon State. According to these statistics, the best defense we will face during the regular season will be Washington at 34. Every other team we will face is currently ranked lower than that. It's still relatively early in the season, but then again we are 1/3 of the way through our schedule. Not surprisingly, Oregon is at 110 out of a possible 127.
