Don't confuse us with facts -- I also agree with the original statement which was "I really wish they could find a way to get Barry J. more touches." For the past two years I haven't thought much about Barry J but any thoughts were 'good guy, too bad" --meaning too bad he wasn't a little faster, a little stronger, etc. so he could have an impact at this level of competition, and I thought that was the way it was going to be. This season you can't help but be impressed -- not just the two big gains but most runs he is getting any extra yards that are available. He may not have gotten faster but he is fast enough and has clearly gotten stronger. He looks good so why not wish there was a way to get him more touches.
The previous carry numbers aside, I was disappointed he didn't get more touches at the end of Oregon State once McCaffrey got over 200 years; game seemed in hand and it would have been nice for Barry J to get 100 yards. There were several carries late in the game that easily could have gone his way.
Also in the Arizona game, after he reeled off another 65 yard TD, seems like there were late carries available that went to Wright, Love and McFadden. No issue with the overall pattern of carries and McCaffrey at #1 and Wright for short yardage, but in both games it felt like there was some room to let Barry show the long runs were not flukes.
That's all, just a perception. You have to look hard for a reason to complain about the last two games.
