This would be a difficult thing for a coach to decide. At what point do you admit to yourself -- and to your team -- that it isn't worth playing your injured starting quarterback? Of course, Stanford fans know all about this -- starting quarterback's out for a road game against a heavily favored opponent -- so we know there are no sure things, but still. Why would they risk further injuring Browning?
