Well, the fifth and final 2017 prospect had better be a F/C because we'll then be down to a total of four bigs on the team: Kaylee Johnson, Shannon Coffee, Alanna Smith, and Nadia Fingall.
Even with that fifth prospect being a F/C, a total of five bigs is sub-optimal. That's cutting it pretty close in view of the possibility of an injury ... or TWO(!), in which case we'd probably have to go to a four-guard/wing lineup for long stretches with only two/three healthy bigs available.
The following year we'll lose Kaylee (barring a red-shirt year in the meantime) and have only two open scholarships. So one, but better yet both, of the 2018 prospects had best be F/Cs. Right now, ESPN shows 6'4" Lindsey Jarosinsky (currently rated number 4 post/number 15 overall in the 2018 class) as interested in Stanford.
