So, the announcers noted that the WSU defensive coordinators were pouring over the NW game. They obviously found a secret to shutting down power. What is it? It is not personnel, obviously.Â
What I've noticed is that WSU is packing the front seven in much closer and daring us to run wide. Normally we would, but the footing is not good enough for CMac to make his normal cuts, and the inside gaps are not big enough to fit through. What should we be doing to counter the pack-it-in defense? I would think more passes to the TEs. Not having Cajuste is hurtful, too, since we need possession receivers just now rather than sprinters on the outside in a rainstorm.
