I'm sorry but I cannot understand how anyone can say the defense had a letdown. One of the statistically best offenses in the country got six possessions in the first half and came away with only 15 points. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A LETDOWN.
The defense saved our butts tonight by keeping Wazzu out of the end zone in the first half, stopping the two-point conversion, and Meeks' game-winning second INT of the game, among other plays.
