I guarantee that would never happen.

The committee would never put a non-conference winning team in above a conference winning team with one more loss.  Now if Ohio State had 1 loss and Stanford had 3 losses that's one thing.

But literally no way a non-conference winning Ohio State gets in over a 2 loss conference winning Stanford.

The committee values conference championships a lot more than you give credit for.
