Not particularly apropos of the conversation here, I wonder how much improvement is really going on in the Colorado program.
The standard story line seems to be that the Buffs have gone from awful to close, and are now about to break out. Maybe, but ...
McIntyre has been there for three seasons:
2015 Colorado had 1 conference win (by 4 points) and 4 one-score losses.
2014 Colorado had 0 conference wins and 4 one-score losses.
2013 Colorado had 1 conference win and 1 one-score loss.
Before McIntyre:
2012 Colorado had 1 conference win and 1 one-score loss.
2011 Colorado had 2 conference wins and 2 one-score losses.
2010 Colorado was in the Big 12.
From the far outside it seems things are just floundering around.
But maybe if you pay more attention or know more about the inside there are good signs.
