We've gone for it on fourth down 11 times in 12 games; last year we went for it 10 times in 13 games.  That doesn't seem to be a meaningful difference to me, though one would have to look at the particular situations to be sure. 

Over Shaw's time as head coach:

2015: 11 fourth down attempts in 12 games.
2014: 10 fourth down attempts in 13 games.
2013: 14 fourth down attempts in 14 games.
2012: 13 fourth down attempts in 13 games.
2011: 12 fourth down attempts in 13 games.

Remarkably consistent.
