One of the most telling things for me was the admission (6:04 in the 4th) by one of the ESPN announcers that this was the first time they had watched McCaffery live. Really? As professional football announcers, they hadn't watched a Stanford game live before today and hadn't studied him on tape? Well, I'm glad they finally got around to it.
McCaffrey should be touted as "perhaps a one-in-a-generation player" for the Voldemort. Otherwise, few will vote for a sophomore. ("Oh, he can win it next year") If Stanford (justifiably) points out that someone like him isn't a player that is just the best of his class, but is the best football player of his year, and maybe the 10 years before and the 10 years after.
Seriously, the SEC's new season rushing record is only 1986 yards? And that's a reason to tout Henry as deserving a Voldemort?
