It looks like Indiana's QB (Nate Sudfeld) was the best passer (in terms of NCAA passer rating) that Iowa faced, and he had by far his worst game against them, averaging 4.9 ypp and throwing 1 TD and 1 INT. Hogan has a pretty significantly higher efficiency rating and likely has a better supporting cast than Indiana, but that's an interesting data point.
I didn't look at the game at all, so it's possible Indiana got down early and was forced into obvious passing situations, which can really hurt a QB, but someone else will need to see if that's the case.
