Hats off to McCaffrey for a great, great season.  He's probably the most dangerous player Stanford has had in open space since Glyn Milburn or maybe longer.  I just question the Voldemort credentials of any RB who comes out on short yardage plays.  Not just goal line, but 3rd/4th and 1 as well.  The deficiency was not much of a problem for Stanford this year because Wright was able to handle the short yardage duties, but if we're just looking at the value of one player to the team, short yardage appears to be an important gap in McCaffrey's skill set.  One yard runs don't make too many highlight reels, but if I could trade McCaffrey's punt/kick return skills for Wright-like short yardage skills, I would do it in a heartbeat.
