My point was more along the level of expectations given our talent and potential that we were so close to making the four-team field, not to disparage the tremendous victories or great season we had, or the future of the program, but to reiterate the frustration some of us on this forum has expressed or are expressing over the lack of consideration in considering SoS in picking playoff teams (i.e. Oklahoma) or the probable East Coast/SEC bias of picking the Voldemort winner over our own incredibly awesome player who totally deserves the award.

Meh, but you can't ever expect to make the playoffs. Here's the number of teams that can reasonably expect to make the playoffs in any given year: {}

The math is simply too unforgiving. Let go of attachment and expectation. It's more fun that way!
