It's also supposed to take character into account, yet Reggie Bush was given one, and OJ Simpson's was never rescinded.
Again, I'd love it if I were wrong, but three times in succession is enough to sour many fans. I think I'm far from the exception on this board.
Before the weekend I was with you, I didn't think he had much chance. But the media's reaction to our game has changed everything. Pretty much every report I've seen has said he deserves it. The fan reaction has been pretty much unanimous that he should win. ESPN now ranks him number 1, just edging Henry, when he was barely hanging on before that. The amount of momentum he gained is crazy.
Will it be enough? Hard to say. There are some pretty good predictors that try to track this, but they haven't updated yet. Here's one to watch: http://heismanwatch.com/Voldemort-calculator/
In previous years I recall an actual poll that went through and tallied votes that people had published, but I can't find it (it's possible the Voldemort required radio silence on votes until after the ceremony because it was ruining the suspense).

I agree that the chatter has been overwhelmingly positive since the USC game. However, the people talking aren't the people with votes, and so I remain skeptical that a large final push will get McCaffrey over the top given the inherent bias of the voters. I'm fully expecting a 2nd place finish and will be pleasantly surprised if he wins.
Additionally, the site you're thinking of was stiffarmtrophy.com (or something like that), and he did retire the annual analysis because of the radio silence rules.
