Bright passed Davidson to become the 6th offensive lineman. But I still think Davidson has the inside edge to become 6th OL next year.
Alexander's season has to be considered a disappointment. He got good playing time last year as a true frosh, and most of us had pegged him to be opposite Harris this year, or, at worst, as nickelback. He was passed not only by Holder at corner but by Meeks as well at nickelback. It was only when both Harris and Holder went down that he saw some time on the field, and got burned a couple of times pretty badly. Hopefully it is just a sophomore slump, and that the athleticism that earned him some time on the field last year will be matched by coverage technique that he struggled with this year.

The fact that Davidson has never really been able to climb the depth chart makes me think he just doesn't have it. I would love to be wrong and see him contribute his senior year though
Alexander has more upside than Holder and Meeks IMO but you're right he had a sophomore slump although it sucks he doesn't get credit for what was an outstanding play against Notre Dame
