I watched the 2014 Rose Bowl in a south American sports bar with a bunch of Michigan State fans.  :( Go to a 5-star American hotel and they can help figure out where to go to see the game. For example, in Bangkok, there is a Grand Hyatt and they may be able to find out where to send your friend.  Do it a few days ahead of time, as they likely won't know off the top of their heads.
