I started this thread mostly as a tongue-in-cheek joke. Although throughout the award season I was annoyed by the tendency to put McCaffrey as the all-purpose rather than running back. The one point I would make in support of McCaffrey's bowl performanceis that he played against a supposd top run defense. I'm not sure how strong a defense Texas Tech has.

In the end this list is just a silly filler piece on the ESPN blog. However it is a continuing trend that I do think will carry into next season's view of McCaffrey and will continue to hurt him in the eyes of some Awards voters.

And for those of you concerned, I had my wife give me 20 lashes for misspelling McCaffrey's name. Please continue to focus on grammar and spelling so that I can make sure I receive my punishments.
