Fully on board with getting rid of this particular autocorrect. We make good points about the biased nature of H.eisman voting and how it underscores a continuing disrespect for Stanford football present among the traditional, good ol' boy segments of the college football media and fandom. I think this particular autocorrect undercuts those points by appearing childish and petty.Â
I'd echo Hulk's comments on C.al, SC, and ND as well. If you want to use a nickname for a particular school, then by all means do so as your own rhetorical choice. But doing so here has always struck me as falling prey to the same things that annoy us about other boards, and particularly other teams' fan boards (such as F.urd and the like). This is a higher caliber of discussion than is generally present on college football forums, so I'd like to think we're above this.Â
