I was looking for the 2016 version of this thread, but it is nonetheless fun to revisit it, in light of what actually happened.  Our final AP ranking after the 2012 season #7, and of course we won the Rose Bowl.

By the way, I was looking for the 2016 version of the thread to post SI's pre-season ranking.
