I am fine with 59ers because it's succinct.  The other autocorrects use up ten syllables  to convey what could more clearly be conveyed with just two letters each: ND and SC.  And there's a sort of slam in giving those two schools such short shrift, like calling the two cities "El Ay" and "Frisco."

I don't like 59er because then people end up saying things like "59er down" and "59er with me."
