Since I'm snowed in this weekend with extra time on my hands, I just ran the Oregon State game for points differential too:
Lili: -11
Bird: +1
Karlie: -5
Marta: 1
Kailee: -5
Kaylee: -15
Brittany: -3
Alanna: +3
Briana: -6
Contra my conclusions about the U$C game, for OSU Kaylee was not very effective (and maybe just played a lot during that fourth quarter). Surprisingly, our freshmen were our most effective, with Marta and Alanna leading the way. What's fascinating (admittedly with an n of 2) is that I had thought our coaches' faith in Marta was a bit unwarranted given that she has had a number of turnovers without much scoring production or even assists. Yet it appears that despite her lack of statistical production, when she's on the floor the team is better, which is more or less what you would expect of a good floor manager.Â
