Another item Tempie addressed was players who are reluctant to shoot. She particularly mentioned how some players despite being open will hesitate and look to do something else first. Then sometimes they realize, okay, I'm the most open, I have to shoot. That results in shooting out of rhythm and a lot of air balls.

My pet theory is that when Tara talks about better shot selection, players sometimes start worrying more about avoiding bad shots when their greater problem may be passing up shots they should take.

Thank you for posting this. Sort of glad that they see it and are cognizant of it (and thus maybe, just maybe, we can do something about it). I actually thought a number of Lili's early shots today were "in rhythm" but just not falling. (Some of the later ones were not in rhythm.) I think your pet theory holds water.

Bruce Lee's advice might be needed for them: "Don't think. FEEL."
