I didn't see the game, but my guess is that the OL's run blocking struggles were the result of a combination of a lack of cohesion (to be expected) and vanilla scheming. Didn't we have concerns about the OL (problems with pass protection) after the Sac. State game last year?
The main reason I've been feeling so good about this season's schedule is that it should give us nearly two months to develop a cohesive offensive line (assuming we can get past Arizona).
If we get to October and are still struggling to run the football, then I'll be concerned.
