Well, pretty much everything he writes he qualifies as a rumor, and I don't know his track record for reliability so who knows what to make of this article. I certainly hope Demetris finds his way to Stanford, if that is truly what he wants. But if he doesn't, he has still earned the utmost respect from Stanford fans, just due to his determination. The fact that some ND fans are fuming about it says much more about the low-quality of some ND fans than anything about Robertson. We should be lauding Robertson as a model of a quality athlete who is willing to work hard in the classroom, rather than bitching and whining about how he hasn't met some media-hyped deadline to make one of the biggest decisions in his life.
Regarding the second article, Notre Dame's Stanford Problem: good lord wouldn't it be awesome to just go into South Bend and beat them down? Talk about shaking them to the foundation. October 15 can't come fast enough.
